We give you many choices, and we’ll help you choose the right one for you.
Age. Soft enamel. Trauma. Teeth wear and break for a number of reasons, and our tooth restoration services give you back the smile you once had--or always wanted.
In addition to our implants, dentures, and cosmetic dentistry, our tooth restoration services include dental veneers and crowns. Each serves a slightly different purpose, and each serves to restore the look and functionality of your teeth. When treatment is complete, your teeth won’t be the only things restored; your life will be, too.
Veneers are thin, custom-made facings to cover the front surface of your teeth. They are bonded to the tooth to fill in unwanted gaps and chips, and they can change the shape of the tooth for a more balanced smile. Dental veneers are made from porcelain or composite resin materials (tooth-colored filling). Porcelain veneers resist stains and wear better than resin composite veneers and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth while composite resin veneers are thinner and require removal of less or none of the tooth surface before placement.
Unlike veneers, which cover only the front surface of the tooth, crowns cover the entire tooth surface. On top of improving a tooth’s appearance, they also provide more protection for the tooth than veneers and are the often the best choice when there has been severe wear, bite problems, and extensive previous restorations.
